This item, along with many others we have listed, came from an estate of a MASSIVE collector of pens and ink. He was a lover of all things handwriting. Not only that, he was very meticulous in regards to the condition of his inks and other refills. I have done my best to guestimate, if an item is used or not. When it is used, I round down to the nearest quarter. Most of the inks you see as used, are going to be close to 95% full. But I always round down to 75% in that particular example. So more often than not, you'll get more than the description states.
Additionally, some of the boxes/inks listed as NEW have some shelf wear, dust, and on occasion, dabs of ink on occasion on the box. I try to show everything in the pictures. In order to determine use, I weighed similar items, and any items that were more than 0.5 grams or more away from a full one were marked as USED. This was done to account for variations in the glass.
You have the opportunity here to add many fine VINTAGE inks that are no longer manufactured. I've tried to represent them as best I could so you could make informed decisions for yourself. I hope you enjoy them. They have both beautiful aesthetics, and are beautifully engineered.
SHIPPING & RETURNS
For items both NEW and USED, that do not contain some kind of identifiable method to determine use or not (i.e. most of the vintage boxed inks), there are
NO RETURNS.
If the ink is sealed still in original container (i.e. The Shaeffer 2 packs, or the Pirate looking Pelikan), then my standard return policy applies.
I have done my best to correctly identify the specific manufacturer color (not easy in some cases) and amounts (erring on the side of caution), and if you receive an item that did not meet the description, then I will work with you on a replacement or refund.
I want to make sure you get what you're looking for. Most of these items are few and far between in the market, so take your time, ask any questions you might have and I will try to answer them to the best of my (novice) abilities.
Also, I will combine shipping if multiple are purchased. So if you bought multiple, and happened to pay for each individual shipping, I will refund after the fact. Adversely, if you buy many, before paying, request an invoice, and I'll modify  accordingly.
